With a degree in Communication, Cinematography and a master's degree in Screenwriting, her work stands out in the field of documentaries, addressing issues of her country of origin such as femicides, pedophilia within the clergy, the feminist movement, and sexual diversity. Among the titles that stand out in her repertoire are “Bajo Juárez, la ciudad devorando a sus hijas” (2006), “Agnus Dei, cordero de Dios” (2011), “Seguir viviendo (2014)”, Luisa (Smuack!) (2015), for which she has received more than 32 awards and recognitions in national and international festivals. His latest work “Placeada: The Intimate Story of an Ex-Assassin” (2022), a feature documentary about the life of Gabriela, a 40-year-old former hitwoman who, after 20 years in prison, is released in search of a new meaning to her life. It was part of the official competition at FICM (2022) in the Documentary Feature category.
