David Feehan is an actor and filmmaker originally from St. John's, NL. He holds a BFA in Acting (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta, and has worked in film, theatre, and television. After graduating from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and a Diploma in Performance and Communications Media, he worked as an Assistant Producer at the film production company Morag Loves Company. While studying business, David also began independently producing videos for local businesses, not-for-profits, and arts organizations. He collaborated on many projects with Pilot Communications in St. John's, and later joined the company as Creative Director. When not at his day job, David served as an Artistic Associate of the theatre company GraveYard Shift Productions, where he produced and acted in several plays. After booking some acting roles in local plays, film, and television, David decided to pursue acting full time, and moved to Edmonton, AB to train in the University of Alberta's BFA in Acting program, from which he graduated with Distinction. As a narrative filmmaker, he has written, produced, and directed several short films. Two notable shorts include "BreakIn(g)", which won the DC Shorts Screenplay Competition in 2014 and the Audience Choice Award at the Nickel Independent Film Festival in 2015, and "Jacob1234", which was picked up by CBC's Canadian Reflections for broadcast and online streaming.
