Oscar Strangio

Oscar is an award winning director and editor who has a strong passion for cinematography and visual aesthetic. He has had extensive experience as an editor on short documentary films for VICE Magazine, Al-Jazeera English, SBS 2 and on feature films through Common Room Productions. His ATOM Award Winning documentary 'Life on Tape' screened at the opening night of the 2014 St Kilda Short Film Festival following 'Lars in Love' which screened in 2013. In 2014, the documentary 'A Taste for Roadkill' screened at the San Francisco Green Film Festival as well as on SBS 2 along with 'King of the Forest', 'Sweat, Scars and Spandex' and 'Life on the Border'. Oscar is one of the three founding members of Point Cool Productions and has worked as a Director of Photography on projects such as 'Distant Boats', an editor on 'Lars in Love' as well as directing his documentary 'Life on Tape' in 2013.
