Anasy Media was founded in 2007 by Alyazia Bint Nahyan Al Nahyan together with her sisters Sheikha Osha & Sheikha Shamsa. It is one of the first in the country, specializing in documentaries and seeking to engage the community in the creative field by organizing events, competitions and exhibitions. Anasy Media has built up an award-winning track-record delivering short and feature-length documentary film productions on various subjects ranging from history and culture to the present day issues, for broadcast and cinema release, available on iTunes, Virgin Megastores and numerous TV channels. Anasy Media documentary films have been screened at over sixty international film festivals worldwide and across commercial cinemas in the UK, USA, UAE and Gulf Region. Anasy's main achievements include several film productions that are available on iTunes, Virgin Megastores and numerous TV channels. Alyazia has contributed mainly to Anasy documentaries such as: Home of History, Future's Nation, Serat Al Ehsan, Common Ground, The Tainted Veil and Nanny Culture. Her company organizes cultural events and has held two successful international documentary awards and a documentary club in Abu Dhabi. In addition to filmmaking, Alyazia is also an artist whose paintings have been successfully exhibited nationally and internationally.
