Born and raised in Champaign, Illinois into a farming family. being not so keen on living the small town life he decided to move to Los Angeles, California straight after high school to pursue skateboarding where he accidentally caught the acting bug by delivering a pizza to an acting studio. He was invited by the owners to a free class after he got off work and couldn't resist the urge. While he still enjoys skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding, he has been pursuing acting ever since.
