“Life is very interesting... in the end, some of your greatest pains become your greatest strengths.” Drew Barrymore comes from a show business family, so from a very young age she was involved in the world of cinema. Her first appearance on the big screen was when she was only five years old in "Altered States" (1980) directed by Ken Russell, although the role that launched her to fame was Gertie from Steven Spielberg's "E.T." (1982). She continued with her appearances as an actress in series and films until 1995, when she founded with Nancy Juvonen the production company Flower Films, with films such as the "Charlie's Angels" saga (2000-2003-2019), "Donnie Darko" (2001) and "50 First Dates" (2004), where she also acts. Since 2020 she has been hosting her own talk show "The Drew Barrymore Show", distributed by CBS Media Ventures.
