Trent Walker was honored with the Best American Actor Award from the Cannes Film Awards for his role as Hank in the film "Hank and Holly Meow". Critics have called Trent "Poignant!" - Variety, "Classic" - Diversions, "Fascinating" - The Daily Beacon, "A stand out!" - Knoxville News Sentinel and LA Weekly say's, "Trent Walker is white trashtastic!" Trent was born and raised in Tennessee, worked as a singing cowboy at Six Flags Over Texas and had a successful career as a male model for Elite Models in Dallas before moving to New York to study acting. He has learned the craft of acting from some of the greats including: Uta Hagen, Sandy Dennis, Cloris Leachman and Lorrie and Diane Hull. Trent's acting is diverse, from a Rebel prisoner fighting for his "rats" in "Gettysburg," to a guard greeting Wesley Snipes with "Mellow Greetings, What seems to be your boggle?" in "Demolition Man," along with playing the death row inmate Bobby Lee Hazen in HBO's "The Expert." He recently shot the part of a boisterous Southern Minister in the feature film "Autumn," a SWAT guy in "Badge of Blame" and a foul-mouthed robber in Blackpill's "Super High." He can also be seen as Fred Martin in the feature film "Alone Wolf." His WebSeries "Gaybors", in which he plays three characters, has won 10 Best TV/WebSeries awards and his new WebSeries "Twisted Brothers" is due out later this year. Along with being a dramatic actor Trent is also a seasoned comedian and performs sketch comedy and improv with several troupes in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. He is also an accomplished songwriter/composer and a recording artist for Comanche Records. Trent's latest singles are "Don't Let the Cat Out" and '62 Buick Special". They are available on all music streaming sites. Also, several of his songs can be heard of film soundtracks including "Daybreak" and "Try Seventeen" starring Elijah Wood and Mandy Moore.
