Demolition Man (1993)

A science fiction action film set in a dystopian future. The story unfolds in a crime-ridden, chaotic Los Angeles in 1996, where Simon Phoenix wreaks havoc. In an attempt to stop him, LAPD officer John Spartan is framed for causing massive destruction and is subsequently cryogenically frozen as punishment. A blend of explosive action, satire, and humor as it depicts the battle between two very different eras and the unlikely partnership of a rough and tough cop and a nostalgic, rule-breaking officer.
