Brought up in Paris, London, Barcelona, and a fishing village on the Mediterranean, actress-now producer U.S.-born Danielle James' speaking four languages by the age of twelve allowed her to take to the stage on a number of coasts at an early age. She graduated early with her B.A. magna cum laude in Paris where she produced and performed leading roles in plays that helped revive English-speaking theater in the City of Light. She has trained with top acting teachers and industry professionals in New York, London, and Los Angeles, winning the IMTA Young Adult Talent of the Year Award. Danielle James' theater credits include acclaimed roles on Broadway, off-Broadway, originated the role of Ivy-League Marcia in Richard Pagano's two-character dramedy "Women with Dogs" in Hollywood where critics likened her to Ingrid Bergman. She was spotted on stage for her role opposite Cary Elwes and Jon Bon Jovi in Arthur Hiller-directed National Lampoon's Pucked (2006), stars as the young artist Alessandra in award-winning feature Broken Glass (2007), guest stars in David Mamet's The Unit (2006), and recurs as the provocative small-town Randi Sue in Alan Ball's eminent southern vampire series on HBO, True Blood (2008). As a producer she is known for Mothers and Daughters (2016) (2016), her breakout film and the #1 hit indie with her production company Siempre Viva Productions starring Susan Sarandon, Christina Ricci, Sharon Stone, Mira Sorvino, Courteney Cox, Selma Blair with Ms. Sorvino winning award for Best Actress at the Milan International Film Festival. Her following feature, Together (2018), coined "a wonderful film - poignant and exquisitely acted" by Daily Mail, written and directed by Paul Duddridge (Mothers and Daughters (2016)) and starring veteran British actors Peter Bowles (Victoria (2016)) and Sylvia Syms (The Queen (2006)), was an Official Selection at the British Film Festival, among others, with Mr. Bowles winning Best Actor for the Oldie Silver Screen Star of the Year Award and nominated at the Winter Film Festival in New York City.
