Bon Temps seemed like a normal town in the Southern USA, until the big revelation: Vampires exist, and they're here to stay. Sookie Stackhouse, ostensibly just a waitress, meets Bill Compton, a vampire who has just inherited a property in the small town. What might seem like just a love story at first sight leads the waitress to face various dangerous issues with all kinds of supernatural creatures.
