Michael began his sound editing career in 1976 for Quinn Martin Productions before accepting a position with Universal Studios two years later. He joined Soundelux in 1986 and has been working as a supervising sound editor and ADR supervisor ever since. He even owned an editorial company, CMS Productions, from 1987 to 1989. In the summer of 2014, Michael joined Technicolor's award-winning sound team. Among the most fulfilling moments in his career, Michael explains that his experiences working with distinguished directors such as John Hughes, Cameron Crowe, Oliver Stone, and Chris Columbus have been challenging, motivating, and satisfying. Michael is constantly impressed and influenced by the people he works for, his colleagues, and those that work for him. The best advice he's been given is "take the blame, give the credit."
