Born in Tehran, Iran in 1992, Arash Ketabchi moved to Australia in 2006 and began making films at the age of 16 at Indooroopilly State high school (ISHS). His first 10 min short film (The Magical Jacket) was made in 2009. He graduated high school in 2010, and his last short film in high school (Solo) was prised the best year 12 film and the best cinematography by his own school (ISHS). Nevertheless Arash is continuing his tertiary studies in Brisbane studying Screen and Media Production.
