AniKatrina Brianna Fageol

AniKatrina (Yes that's her real name) has always been a book worm. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BFA in Theatre and went on to work for the Walt Disney Company. It was here, when she worked with princesses and fairies, that she met children who were just like her, children who called themselves 'freaks'. They thought that their disease made them different and AniKatrina would assure them that their insulin pumps were magical. AniKatrina was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes in 2001 and has never allowed her disease to dampen her bright spirit. She created Princess Prilla and her Pretty Pink Pump (ISBN : 978-1-78830-352-1), the story of a little girl living a sweet life, until she is told she has Diabetes and will have to wear an insulin pump.
