J.D. Renemarie

JD Renemarie is a mixed race Canadian actor, born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Growing up, she longed to see lead characters, on screen, who looked like her. After attending her first acting class in 2019, she became inspired to pursue acting as a lifelong career and help make this change. JD trained at LB Acting Studio with Michelle Arvizu, as well as at Alza Acting Studio with Dean Bajramovie and Tim Kachurov. Notable acting credits include UNRD's scripted adaption of MTV's hit reality show "Ghosted", as well as the short film "First Call" directed by Angela Onuora (This Naija Girl Studios). JD aims to inspire audiences to love themselves and pursue their dreams, no matter their shape, color or shade. She is also a hip hop and lyrical dancer, spoken word artist and singer.
