Camilla Ketib

Camilla Ketib is a young aspiring film director and screenplay writer from Beirut, Lebanon. After getting her bachelor's degree in Media and Communications from the American University of Beirut, she chose to move to Vancouver to pursue her film career. With on set film experience at Vancouver Film School, specializing in directing and cinematography, she brings professionalism and creativity to every film production she's a part of. After working as a crew member and key creative on several short films during film school, Tommy & Sofia was her directorial debut. Inspired by the storytelling of great writer/ directors such as the Coen brothers and Quentin Tarantino, she strives to tell intriguing and unique stories with visually compelling frames. Her favorite stories to tell incorporate creating overly exaggerated situations based on real life scenarios that her characters must face, all enhanced by her own touch of comedic flair. After filming Tommy & Sofia, Camilla will be directing the short film, The Pale Light as our Witness. Her main career goal is to write and direct a feature film and she's currently working on building her body of work as a writer and director.
