Esther Eden

Esther Eden's depth, versatility and passion as an actor originate from her diverse background and love of travel. She was born in Sydney, Australia to a Catholic Italian father and Jewish Eastern European mother, who nurtured her interest in the arts. Esther spent her formative years in Israel where she learned Hebrew, took up Rhythmic Gymnastics and acted in school productions. At age 14, she returned to Australia and focused on Acting. Esther was accepted into the McDonald College of Performing Arts, attended courses at the National Institute of Performing Arts and landed her first indie feature film role at age 15. Esther later auditioned and was accepted to the 12 Month Intensive program at Screenwise. At her showcase she was approached by a UK agent who offered her representation. In London, Esther attended workshops at RADA and LAMDA, as well as being a member of the Actor's Center. She was involved in numerous productions, highlights include co-creating theatre company Le Nouveau Guignol dedicated to resurrecting Grand Guignol plays, joining sketch comedy group The 313 show, recording audio sit-pod-com Quiz Masters which hit the top 10 comedy podcasts on iTunes and filming comedy horror feature film Dead Love. After successfully applying for an O1 visa in 2015, she moved to LA the end of that year and continued her Meisner training which she had started in London with Tom Radcliffe (a former student of Sandford Meisner), with the Taylor School of Acting (Coach Alex Taylor, also a student of Sandford Meisner and Winner of Backstage Best Acting Coach) graduating from the Two year Acting program, being the only student in her year to perform two scenes as part of their graduation night. Since moving to LA, Esther has performed in theatre productions Bump in the Night (2016 Hollywood Fringe festival), Astroglyde 2017, where she wrote and performed her first one woman show 'Squirreled Away' which received rave reviews at Zombie Joe's Underground Theater in North Hollywood, and filmed feature film, Group Therapy which is now being submitted to film festivals and has already picked up distribution.
