Evan Holtzman

Evan Holtzman is an American actor and filmmaker, but he wasn't always one... He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas to Denise Holtzman, a preschool teacher, and Scott Holtzman, an accountant. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated in four years with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After spending two years in Houston working in the oil and gas industry designing oil rigs and platforms, he decided to move to Southern California to work with another energy company, Flowserve, as a Project Sales Engineer. His roommate at the time was an actor, and although the "acting world" was completely foreign to him, he decided to take a class just for fun. After one class, he fell in love with storytelling and was off to the races. 5 years later, after juggling a full-time engineering job and acting, he left the engineering world behind to focus completely on his newfound passion.
