Christopher T. Brown

LA-based writer, director, producer, Christopher T. Brown, graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Ct. in 2009 with a B.A. in Creative Writing. In 2014, he completed his M.F.A in Screenwriting at New York University, Tisch School for the Arts. His work in the industry spans back to 2006, when Peter Goldwyn, then President of Acquisitions at Samuel Goldwyn Films, hired him as a script reader in their New York City office. He was later honored in 2011, with a nomination for a Kennedy Award for a play he'd written entitled, Tough Love. While at New York University, he began working with Spike Lee. His work with Lee led to a friendship with American actor, director, writer, an activist, Nate Parker. Brown was a Production Assistant on The Birth of a Nation. Most recently he was an Associate Producer on Parker's 2018 New Digital Media Series, Baselines.
