Steven began acting in his teenage years when he was cast in a school play, "Come Blow Your Horn," by Neil Simon in which, Steven was cast as the Jewish father, Mr. Baker. The acting bug hit and Steven went on to take the leading role as William Shakespeare in the short film production "The Life of William Shakespeare." Life happens, and Steven had to diverge and leave acting behind for a number of years. However, it was during this time that he gained invaluable experience that now provides him amazing insight into casting as law enforcement and legal roles. Steven spent 21 years as a street police officer and sex crimes (SVU) detective. He worked closely with the FBI, the Department of Justice's United States Attorneys Office, and the USPIS. His experience going undercover and portraying himself as a criminal himself to those he was investigating provided amazing acting research and experience portraying these roles for film and television...he was able to go undercover and act in a role and actually convince those he was investigating that he was who he said he was, a criminal himself. Steven's experience also included being trained as a Firearms Instructor through the FBI Firearms Instructor's School, a riot team member, a Field Training Officer, and served as a Member of the Police Department's Firearms Combat Competition Team and ranking first place his first year in his division. He was selected Police Officer of the Year twice. Steven has been cast as a Security Guard in the film "Logan Lucky" with Channing Tatum, Daniel Craig, and Katherine Heigl and directed by Steven Soderbergh. He can be seen in an upcoming film, "Let There Be Light," a film starring Kevin Sorbo and Daniel Roebuck, Directed by Kevin Sorbo.
