Kris Moyes

Kris Moyes was born in the Northern Beaches, New South Wales, Australia. Since graduating from the University of New South Wales with a double degree in Fine Arts, Moyes has pursued a successful career as an innovator in the music and art worlds. Renowned for his strong work ethic, Moyes' pushes the boundaries between fine art, science and pop culture. A broad cross-section of his work has been exhibited at various museums and institutions around the world including Centre Pompidou in Paris, Gutenberg Museum in Germany and Australian Centre of the Moving Image. Moyes' work has been showcased by the NY Times, The New York Magazine, ID Magazine, V-Man, Tokion, The Sydney Morning Herald, Shots and Dazed & Confused. His production company KMoyes Pictures, has received numerous awards and accolades including several Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards in Australia, over 6 Music Video Producers Association (MVPAA) Awards nominations in the USA and a Design & Art Direction (D&AD) nomination in the UK. Perhaps Moyes' strongest trait can be found in the depth of his understanding of the cinematic language. He has the capacity to build solid concepts that shine an international spot light on rising talent and elevating established talent to the forefront of pop culture with emotionally engaging executions. In 2015, Moyes was invited to join a filmmakers in residence program to focus on the development of several original screenplays. Moyes resides in Los Angeles.
