Laura Oberbeck

Born in Columbia, MO, Laura spent her childhood between Central America and Missouri before moving to New York to attend NYU's Tisch for acting where she was placed in the Experimental Theater Wing. There she met her mentor, Terry Knickerbocker, and decided to advance her training at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio where she studied Meisner. Laura wrote and performed a 50 minute solo show titled "LAURA." The performance was staged at the PIT, NY Winterfest, and to sold out crowds at the Annoyance Theater NY (a New York Times featured venue). She has been featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Chris Gethard Presents and is always working on new material. Her favorite holiday is Shark Week.
