Chris Bernier

Chris Bernier is a writer and a director who lives in the quiet, meditative Maine woods with his family. Best known for the upcoming, horror masterpiece Halloween Ends, Bernier's first book -- Dead Man's Suit -- will be released in the Fall of 2022. Getting his start in the early days of online journalism, Bernier was inspired by the French New Wave directors who were able to transition from critic to filmmaker, in a move that is all too rare these days. He counts Agnes Varda, Alfred Hitchcock, John Carpenter, the ideas of David Cronenberg, and the early films of Steven Spielberg as his filmmaking touchstones.
