C. Robert Stevens

C. (Charles) Robert Stevens was born in Houston, Texas. He spent much of his childhood abroad, living in Lagos Nigeria, Wassenaar The Netherlands, and Trinidad & Tobago before moving to Dallas at age 11. He attended both Southern Methodist University and Trinity University, where he received his bachelor's degree. After moving to Austin in his mid 20's he returned to graduate school, where he studied Medieval English Literature. At the same time he began acting, in UT's Shakespeare at Winedale program in the spring of 1991. Most of his acting has been on the stage, where he has performed in 24 of Shakespeare's 37 plays.
