Anastasia Blackwell

Anastasia Blackwell was born in a small coastal town in Oregon. She discovered acting at a young age, and performed and competed in speech and drama competitions throughout her childhood in Portland. She received a B. S from U of O and studied for an MA in Theater Arts at PSU. After graduating. She was recruited to San Francisco, where she worked for a CBS affiliate. As associate producer she helped create award-winning commercials. During her years in SF, she performed extensively in theater, while doing commercials and voice-overs, and received prestigious acting commendations. She is a published author of two novels, contemporary gothic thriller, "The House on Black Lake" and medieval fantasy, "The Chamber of Curiosities, and the books have been adapted to screenplays. Original screenplay, "I Am Human", an urban fantasy, is being adapted to a novel. Anastasia spent many years learning the flying trapeze. And, has used her expertise, and experience writing, directing, acting, and producing to incorporate aerial acts into music videos, film, and writing projects. Film offers brought her LA, where she continues to explore story-telling in all forms of art, and adventure travel as a springboard to inspiration.
