Bessie Kay

Bessie Kay is a TV Presenter and Producer, currently presenting Season 4 of Open Homes Australia on the Nine Network, the Highest Rated Australian Made TV Series on 9Life. Her journey in the entertainment industry began as a singer and dancer, launching her vibrant career through the Australian Musical Theatre scene. She performed in We Will Rock You, Carousel, Sesame Street, and many more live productions and performances. Bessie then progressed into choreographer, creative director and eventually made the transition from stage productions to TV screens. In 2011 Bessie trained in film & TV in Los Angeles, it was during this time Bessie discovered her love for media and TV presenting. This newly discovered passion propelled her in using the tools gained, setting out full stream ahead to carve her own path in the Australian TV industry. Upon returning home to Melbourne Australia, Bessie Kay landed her first established TV presenting role on well-known TV series Australia's Best Houses Channel 7. She then went on the uncover a firm place within the home media space on multiple major TV networks such as Channel 7, Channel 10 & 10 Peach, Channel 9LIfe and Foxtel. She is also the Senior Co Producer of the new TV series Behind The Sash which is aired on 10 Peach and Channel 10.
