Silvia Baldassini

Born in northern Italy, Silvia moved to the States at a young age to study Liberal and Performing Arts. She worked on several theatrical productions as actor, dancer and assistant choreographer including 'Noises Off', 'Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat', 'Trophy Wife' and 'Enron, The Musical'. She worked on TV shows such as 'House of Cards' (Netflix), 'Insidious2' (studio movie digital-series), 'The Secret of Joy', (all-star cast mini-feature) and on her first feature film lead role in 'Perils of Posting'. She was introduced to the film industry on the East Coast and later moved to Los Angeles, where she also trained in production for several theatrical and commercial projects, gaining overall knowledge and experience in all aspects of the business. Her true passion for storytelling grew tremendously in the past couple of years. She sharpened her writing skills, created original content and co-produced an award-winning short, while studying and working as an actor. What she is thrilled about is bringing one of her own screenplays to life in 2019! Passionate about writing stories of diversity and about her personal journey as an expat, she dreams of empowering others who embrace their own heritage while pursuing the American dream.
