As a young girl growing up in Massachusetts, Pam dreamed of being an actor. There were two specific books that inspired her theatrical interests: "Act One" by Moss Hart (later a Broadway hit starring Tony Shaloub) and "Marjorie Morningstar" by Herman Wouk (who wouldn't want to be Natalie Wood in love with Gene Kelly??) Both books were full of performance insight and magic and romance, and Pam wanted to be a part of it all. So in fifth grade she took to the stage in her school's musical revue, which her dad wrote and directed. Then a year later she wrote, directed and starred in her first play...and well, the rest, as they say, is history! Moving to Arizona as a teen she went on to enjoy a rewarding career as a college arts educator. Now in "retirement", Pam has returned to her first love...acting...and continues to pursue opportunities on stage, on camera and in voice-over work. Recent projects include TV/Film: Lydia Porter in "The Encounter, The Meeting, episode 8, Maximum Mike", Intrigue Films; Video: Zina Jacinto in "Kudzu Kids, the Case of the Missing Dogs", Crime Scene Productions; Commercials: "Mind Boost" spokesperson, Lizardland Video; Stage: Rose Saunders in "Rasheeda Speaking", Black Theatre Troupe and Nanny Marina in "Uncle Vanya", Southwest Shakespeare Company. Other favorite roles include Big Mama ("Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"), Ida ("Morning's at Seven") and Dolly Levi ("The Matchmaker"). Recent professional growth workshops include...Commercial Auditioning (Garth Williams), Acting for Film/TV (Elizabeth Gazma), The Business of Acting (Barbara Deutsch), Commercial and Film Auditioning (Good Faith Casting) and The Voice Connection (Tonya Rodgers).
