Marcel Jasny

Marcel Jasny is a writer and director, primarily supervising the production of various advertisements for many enterprises. In his free time, however, Marcel tends to aim for a more unique experience within the realms of filmmaking. These aspirations are said to come in part from his grandfather being renowned director Voijtech Jasny, to which he always had a distant relationship with. Despite denying it on multiple occasions, it is said to be one of Marcel's primary reasons in becoming a filmmaker. During his more impressionable years, his family had moved to Germany and Marcel was left alone often - his parents working long days to sustain a living. Unbeknownst to him, this would lay the foundation of his long-standing love for storytelling, as it gave Marcel the opportunity to lose himself in his own worlds. Worlds he would later write about and put on film. It did not take long for Marcel to venture into several productions, vowing to step into his grandfather's footsteps and continue the legacy under the Jasny family banner. He still claims his passion of film to be of utmost importance in his tenure as a director.
