Kelsey Noelle Lane was born in Lynchburg, Virginia. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Richmond, Virginia where she was raised. She grew up with a love for the arts and took a variety of dance classes. By the time she was in high school, she was cast in a variety of dance ensembles for a community theater musical that was held annually at Christmas called Glorious Christmas Nights. Her dance team traveled to New York City to participate in Project Dance where they performed in Time Square and participated in master classes. She was also an avid music lover and took violin and singing lessons. That love of music took her to Middle Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN where she fell in love with acting. A friend encouraged her to pursue acting opportunities on the ABC/CMT TV show "Nashville" where she found herself on set and never looked back. She then began taking classes at The Actors Studio with Alan Dysert who previously had been on "All My Children." After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Business and Marketing, she moved to New York City to further her studies as an actor. She studied the Meisner technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre and graduated in May 2018 with a certificate from the two-year conservatory program. She also has studied improv at People's Improv Theater. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles where she now resides. She currently studies improv/sketch comedy at the renowned Groundlings after being accepted to their core track program in May 2019. Kelsey has a deep passion for improv and comedy, and also writes/shoots/directs and edits her own personal sketch comedy on her Youtube Channel/Instagram with some of her fellow Groundlings core track students. In addition to working on CMT Nashville, she starred in an independent film directed by Ryan Lacen titled "The Dust Storm." She can also be seen in Brantley Gilbert's music video "Small Town Throwdown" and in Sam Hunt's music video "Leave the Night On."
