Diego Garcia Rendon

I am Diego Garcia Rendon, 15-year-old Mexican boy living in Australia. I've been training in dance since I was nine and it's completely changed my life. In 2014 and 2015 I was honored to represent Mexico in the International Festival of Dance in Colombia and the World Championship of Hip Hop in USA. In 2016 I moved to Mexico City and I began training with The Jukebox, Worldwide Champions of Hip Hop. In 2017 I moved to Melbourne and I was accepted at Patrick School of the Arts. In 2020 I was accepted and offered a place at Brent Street Academy 2021 until graduation of year 12 in 2023, at the most prestigious Performing Arts School in the country. In addition to Hip Hop, I have being studying Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Commercial, Tap, Singing, Acting, Musical Theater and Acrobatics, alongside friends who share my dream. I have appeared on the TV Shows Ready Set Dance on Nick Jr and The Floor is Yours on ABC, some Short Films, TV Commercials, Video Clips, Modelling Runways, and Corporate Shows. Likewise, I have being interviewed for a feature by Dance Informa Australia, The Boys Dance Magazine and SBS Spanish. Since 2020 I have being a part of The Dream Creative Crew, one of the most prestigious Dance Companies in Australia and New Zealand, directed by Marko Panzic. I have faced different challenges, from moving overseas and learning a new language, to overcome bulling and studying new dance techniques.
