Craig Federighi

Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, responsible for iOS and OS X. Federighi, who first began to experiment with code when he was ten years old, promotes Apple's Hour of Code workshops for kids aged 6 and up, introducing young children to programming is the next level of literacy. The ability to create in that medium is as fundamental as the ability to write. Federighi has been a part of Apple since it acquired Steve Jobs's NeXT back in 1997, but having spent much of his time working on enterprise software, he's been mostly a background figure, now being hailed the perfect frontman for Apple.
