Every family has a secret. Angkasa (Rio Dewanto), Aurora (Sheila Dara Aisha), and Awan (Rachel Amanda) are siblings who live in happy-looking families. After experiencing her first major failure, Awan meets Kale (Ardhito Pramono), an eccentric guy who gives Awan a new life experience about breaking-up, falling, growing, losing, and all the fear of humans in general. Under parental pressure Awan's attitude changes; this prompts the rebellion of the three siblings that leads to the discovery of secrets and great trauma in their families.

In London, Aurora finds a soul mate with the same vision as hers, Jem, an up-and-coming artist who is also a senior on campus and an immigrant from Indonesia. Aurora's life is perfect and full of passion until she finds another side of Jem, who makes Aurora give up college and leave her dream. During her difficult time, Aurora is assisted by her two best friends: Honey and Kit, to live together in their apartment. Aurora's preoccupation with surviving and trying to return to her studies by working odd jobs causes her to lose contact with her family. Two months without news make Angkasa and Awan follow Aurora to London. Surprised by Aurora's messy condition, Angkasa and Awan agree to force Aurora to come home.

Domestic conflicts that are being experienced by Angkasa and Lika. As the father of Angkasa, Narendra certainly tries to defuse the situation experienced by his son. But, the different views on life and marriage make the discussion between the two to find a solution tough. Until finally we are brought back to the past when Narenda fought for the love of Ajeng who is of a different caste economically. The story of this love struggle will take place in 1987, where young Narendra tries to win the heart of young Ajeng. Even though they have different conflicts and stories, the struggle for love between Narenda and Angkasa can be united by a red line, a sentence "Love will mean more when it is fought for".

Dinda finally left Argo and Kale with her to build a new belief. Kale's desire to protect Dinda slowly turns into a sense of belonging. Kale and Dinda both brought bitter experiences to their parents. Dinda just wants to be loved and Kale manages to convince himself to do that. Kale wants to make Dinda feel loved and with that he promises to make her happy. This story is woven back and forth between the present and the past which lasts for almost two years. Kale tries not to repeat his father's mistakes, while Dinda realizes that he can never have the patience his mother has. The feeling of wanting to protect and have what was originally beautiful eventually became a new nightmare. Kale tries to hold on to Dinda but the woman has grown up and made her own choices, something she never imagined before: an affair.

Dinda believes that there is a kind of love that doesn't hurt, and Pram is the proof. Meeting Pram makes his world that almost collapsed back into one.
