The Waltons Reunion Movie Collection

Erin Walton is considering marrying her boyfriend Paul, but her old boyfriend Ashley, who left for the war and married someone else, has become a widower and wants Erin back, but Paul will not give her up so easily. Mary Ellen's boyfriend Jonesy, a veterinarian, is trying to establish a practice but not everybody has confidence in him. Ben, who has been minding the lumber business while their father is with their ailing mother in Arizona, is having some problems and everybody's worried that he's digging himself too deep of a hole.

Most of the Waltons have split up in the days approaching Thanksgiving 1947. But most of the family begins to arrive at Walton's Mountain, beginning with John-Boy, who is recovering from a case of writer's block in New York, followed by Jason, now a struggling musician as well as John Walton, who tries to get everyone together for the special event for Elizabeth, while newlyweds Erin and Paul plan to move out of the Walton homestead.

John-Boy and his girlfriend Janet arrive on Walton's Mountain to celebrate Thanksgiving. Janet keeps putting off on giving John Boy an answer after he proposes marriage. The nation is shocked by the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; when John-Boy is sent to Washington to cover the news story of Kennedy's assassination, Janet stays on Walton's Mountain to get to know the family. Corabeth is angry that Ike invited Aimee to come home for Thanksgiving; she arrives with a baby girl named Beth. John-Boy returns Thanksgiving night. John and Olivia have decided to stay on the mountain and not build their dream house.

Alton & Kenya's OUTRAGEOUS WEDDING is a romantic comedy about a wedding. The bride and groom, Alton Sheffield and Kenya Jackson, grew up on different sides of the track. Alton grew up in an upper class household in Baldwin Hills. His wife to be, Kenya, grew up in the "Jungle" (South Central LA). Comedy ensues as the two families come together for a day of holy matrimony.

In 1969, John-Boy is a TV news anchorman in New York and he is in the throes of writing a new book. He and a very pregnant Janet are making plans to return to Walton's Mountain for the celebration of John and Olivia's 40th wedding anniversary. Accompanying them to see the place John-Boy lived as a child is Aurora, a TIME magazine photographer who is doing a story on John-Boy. Meanwhile, Elizabeth returns from her travels and announces to Drew, who is still working at the mill with Ben, that she is home to stay. She is very upset to find that Drew did not wait for her, and that he has a new girlfriend. Also, problems arise for John-Boy and Janet because the longer John-Boy stays on the mountain, the more he becomes convinced that he would like to settle down there, raise his family, and continue with his writing, whereas Janet wants to stay in New York.

Mary Ellen marries Jonesy but they don't exactly have a good start. While on their honeymoon, she suffers an accident that leaves her unable to bear children. She then shuts out everyone, even Jonesy. Eventually she decides to go to the one person who can understand what she's going through: her mother, who is recuperating in Arizona.
