Godzilla (Millennium)

Godzilla returns in a brand-new movie that ignores all preceding movies except for the original with a brand new look and a powered up atomic ray. This time he battles a mysterious UFO that later transforms into a mysterious kaiju dubbed Orga. They meet up for the final showdown in the city of Shinjuku.

Godzilla returns to terrorize Japan! This time, however, Japan has two new weapons to defend themselves. The Gryphon, a high-tech ship, and the Dimension Tide, a device that creates artificial black holes! During a test of the Dimension Tide, eggs appear in the city of Shibuya and hatch into terrifying Meganurons! These creatures need water to grow and flood the city of Shibuya by breaking underground water veins. As they multiply and grow, they start to feed on the energy of humans. After gathering enough energy, they transform in to giant dragonfly monsters called Meganuras! And now they target Godzilla for energy to feed to the larva of their queen, which eventually hatches into the terrifying 60-meter Megaguirus who also begins to attack Godzilla for his energy. Now a 3-way battle between Godzilla, the Megaguirus, and humans begins! Will Godzilla win? Will humanity survive?

The horror of the Pacific War and specter of Godzilla have all become a distant memory for Japan. However, the destruction of a US submarine raises alarms for Admiral Tachibana. His estranged daughter Yuri, is working on a pseudo documentary when she comes across the legend of the three guardian monsters. The guardians are awaken by an old man, Hirotoshi Isayama, who informs Yuri that Godzilla, embodying the restless souls of the victims of Pacific War, has returned to destroy the nation for having forgotten the suffering of the war. As Yuri and her colleagues investigate, Admiral Tachibana and the guardian monsters attempt to defeat an unstoppable and vengeful Godzilla.

To protect Japan from yet another monster attack, this time from a new and malevolent member of the Godzilla (Gojira) species, the Japanese government creates a human-piloted cyborg, codenamed Kiriyu, using the skeleton of the original Godzilla (Gojira) that attacked Japan in 1954.

The creature Mothra returns to Tokyo 42 years after its first appearance, warning that Mechagodzilla must be returned to the sea so as not to disturb the dead. However, with Godzilla's return, Mechagodzilla is the only defense Tokyo has.

In the year 20XX, Earth faces a sudden monster onslaught in major cities. Alien race Xiliens appears as saviors but is exposed as infiltrators by the Earth Defense Force. The Controller of Planet X retaliates by unleashing the monsters again. With humanity on the brink, a group of EDF soldiers deploys the warship Gotengo to release Godzilla from his Antarctic prison, relying on the King of the Monsters to take on the Xiliens' kaiju army.
