If I Were You

Claudio, a thriving publicist, and Helena, a children's choir music teacher, live a routine filled with constant arguments. When a particularly intense fight occurs, something extraordinary happens: they inexplicably swap bodies. Now, in a state of bewilderment, they both must navigate each other's lives while concealing their unusual predicament. As they strive to return to normalcy, they grapple with the challenges of leading unfamiliar lives.

Homemaker Helena has an argument with her workaholic husband Claudio because he refuses to travel to Italy on holiday and leave the agency where he works. So Helena throws him out of their house and he moves to the apartment of his single friend Nelsinho in Arpoador. Meanwhile, their spoiled daughter discovers that she's pregnant and wants to inform her parents. Nelsinho forces Claudio to go to a nightclub where Helena sees him with a woman and believes that he's cheating on her.
