The Mighty Ducks

Gordon Bombay is a lawyer arrested for drunk driving and sentenced to community service with a children's ice field hockey team. Despite his experience in the sport, he relives old traumas involving his coach, Jack Reilly. However, he grows fond of the team and prepares them for their next challenge. This successful family comedy spawned two more sequels; with a tragicomic tone, it raises interesting conflicts and that makes it even more enjoyable. Add it to your list of movies to watch!

A sports comedy directed by Robert Lieberman. It's the third installment of the Mighty Ducks franchise. The film follows the Ducks as they enter a prestigious prep school and face new challenges on and off the ice. With its mix of sports action and coming-of-age themes, it's a family-friendly sports movie.

Gordon Bombay is forced to withdraw from the minor hockey league with a knee injury. Much to his surprise, he is given the job of coach of Team USA Hockey for the Junior Goodwill Games in California. With most of the Ducks and a few new players in tow, he sets forth for LA. All appears to be going well for a while, but the hype of Hollywood starts to get to Gordon, and he is distracted when Iceland, the favourites to win the title, appear on the scene.
