When millions of dollars vanish from a prestigious HBCU, the newly hired president and dean find themselves at the center of a financial crisis. A random audit of the school's money was initiated where it was discovered that the former president and dean were embezzling money from the university. Dean Cynthia Sinclair and President Cara Fields must search through all of the school's financial records to trace where the money was sent and to find out if anyone else was involved. Professor Kevin Macklin, an African American History teacher, must build a rapport with his students in order to help them finish college and navigate through some personal challenges.
