Assisen (2023)

Assisen is a Belgian drama series on the Play4 network. The series premiered on February 8, 2023. A murder case, a victim, a defendant, a talented lawyer, and a tough Public Prosecutor. And the jury, formed by the public, the viewers, the people at home. Those are all the ingredients for the new interactive fiction series 'Assisen'. Each viewer is part of the largest jury ever in Flanders and will help decide guilt or innocence. To do so, the Flemish audience will have to listen carefully to all the testimonies and pleadings that come to life through flashbacks. Doubt, discussion, suspicion, and an exciting conclusion form the basis. Do the witnesses tell the truth? Or are they themselves suspects? The truth only comes to light after the verdict of guilt or innocence.
