Nobelovac (2024)

Yugoslav writer Ivo Andric fears possible consequences because of his past now when he is a Nobelist from the communist country. Andric recalls his prison time during WWI, days of his diplomatic career in Berlin, where he met Hitler, WWII in an occupied Belgrade, when he fell in love with the wife of his Dachau imprisoned colleague, and post-War communist purges. While Andric evaluates the price he payed for surviving and staying humane, Yugoslav secret service ensures the Yugoslav Nobelist stays safe and that his past sins don't end up in the media.
