Berlin in the first Corona spring 2020: The two sisters Leonie (14) and Lea (16) were separated ten years earlier after the early death of their mother and are looking forward to the opportunity to live together with grandmother Edda. The anticipation is mixed with unsettling news from Wuhan and the rest of the world. It doesn't take long before the virus arrives in Edda's household and the sisters are faced with dramatic changes. Inspired by actual events that determined the news situation all over the world, series creator Maria von Heland has chosen a small dysfunctional family to tell with great emotional punch and a lot of sensitivity what the virus threat has done to the different generations. The ten-part series was shot under lockdown conditions in spring 2020 in Berlin. A coming-of-age story that couldn't be closer to the immediate present.
