Lakeside Murders (original title: Koskinen) follows Inspector Sakari Koskinen and his team in the Violent Crimes Unit as they try to solve murders in the Finnish lakeside city of Tampere. The Violent Crimes Unit is exceedingly busy, understaffed, and doesn't have enough resources. As Koskinen faces violent and horrible crimes, he also struggles against inner demons to keep his own life in balance and family together. Some mistakes can't be fixed. Lakeside Murders is based on the best-selling Koskinen series by author Seppo Jokinen. The first season of Lakeside Murders is based on five Koskinen books.
