Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka (1999)

This is the story of a Gujarati joint family. The family is led by a very mature man Purshottam Nanavati, who has four sons. All of them are married but still live together along with their parents and grandmother. 'Ek Mahal Ho Sapano Ka' is truly a story of a family which has built a house on their collective dreams and aspirations. It is a family entertainer filled with wonderful moments of love, emotions and the clashes that come along with the joint family system. The story is about the trials and tribulations that a joint family faces: the reasons for their separation and their unions. The show talks about the differences and the love shared by the family - whether it is due to difference in personalities or the generation gap between them.
