Tahiti Spirit (2019)

Detective Cheyenne Tinihu teams up with police captain Félix Kleber to help him find his daughter, who has mysteriously disappeared on the island of Tahiti. During the investigation, Cheyenne discovers shamanic powers of her own, inherited from her supposedly dead father. With different methods and opposing personalities, Félix Kleber and Cheyenne Tinihu have to combine their respective talents to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Félix's daughter Roxane, who'd been studying archaeology and working on a thesis about the island's sacred sites. Next, Roxane's best friend Maeva, a young dancer, is found dead. Is there a link between the two cases? While Félix pushes full steam ahead to find his daughter, Cheyenne discovers that her father, whom she had thought was dead, is still alive. He's a powerful tahu'a, or shaman, who could be involved in Roxane's abduction.
