When Paul and Sali Aloka, a black couple, adopted Benjamin, a white child, 14 years ago, they knew they were heading into uncharted territory. Then they had the joy of seeing Noé, a natural child, born shortly afterwards. Noé is unlike his big brother in every way: he's serious (Benjamin's a joker), studious (Benjamin's a jock), and he's black. An ordinary family that has found its equilibrium until the day when Paul's father, Lazare, whom everyone thought was dead, arrives in his son's life; and Benjamin is going to have a request that is going to shake up the whole family: to meet his biological parents.
