Prosperity (2010)

Ai Xin (Huifang Hong) was on the brink of suicide after her husband's death. She met Shun Ping (Say Ping Yap), an ex-drug addict who lost his legs. Inspired by him, she pulled herself together and eventually married him. Together with their children, they live a contented life and are actively involved in community work. Unlike her, Ai Xin's sisters, Ai Li (Aileen Tan) and Ai Ming (Priscelia Chan) are discontented with their lot. Ai Li is the richest among her sisters, she is proud and looks down on the rest. Ai Ming has a doting husband, Jin Han (Terence Cao), but is unhappy that he does not earn enough money. She is set on buying a condominium, hence sending the cash-strapped family into peril. As the Chinese New Year approaches, Ai Li turns up at Ai Xin's house a repented person, what did she go through that make her change? Ai Ming's husband loses his job, will they lose their condominium too? Will the sisters finally understand the true meaning of contentment and have a happy.
