Girl in the Room (2021)

The idea for this project sprung from our experience as pioneers in the business before more than one woman at a time was given a seat at the table. We were the generation that stopped serving coffee and chose to speak our minds. It took more than half a century for women to go from comedy whisperers to comedy mavens. Drawing on our mutual lived experience, we began talking to other women who had made a similar journey. They say we've "come a long way baby" but we sure have a long way to go.
