Laura downloads Connect2U, a phone application with an A.I. life coach who promises a "Path to more joyful living." The coach, Connect, implements different tools to help gain control over the direction of Laura's life. Laura becomes more productive and successful, but she learns that it isn't always a good idea to have something so connected to you. Inherent in progress is the need to leave something behind.
