Wannabe's (2021)

Olly, a talking monkey, dreams of becoming a star. And where do stars shine the brightest? Online. So Olly joins the team of Video King, a young company that pursues online success. Unfortunately, the boss of the company, a thirtysomething fossile, who thinks he's down with the kids, but isn't, understands very little of online video content. And so he send his team in all directions, except for the right one. Every episode he sees a new, golden opportunity for his team of wannabe video stars: Shoana (18), a girly vlogger with a love for cupcakes and her midget pony, Saïd (19), a digital wizkid who would rather be a musician, Trix (21) a very direct technician with a short fuse. And now last but not least Olly, who wrongfully considers himself the biggest talent of the gang. Even though these sympathetic losers never really get what they want, their pursuit of online applause does have an unexpected side-effect: a tight friendship.
