Revolution Now: 5 Days with Sowore (2022)

Omoyele Sowore is an activist, founder of Sahara Reporters ('Africa's Wikileaks') and a former presidential candidate under Nigeria's African Action Congress Party. He was illegally arrested by Nigeria's DSS in August 2019, released that same December and has been restricted to the capital ever since. In this 2-part documentary, Onuora Abuah focuses on his life; from his humble beginnings in a small Ondo village, his years as the Student Union President at the University of Lagos to his most recent arrest and court battles.
