Diplomacy (2016)

DIPLOMACY is an original series and spiritual successor to THE WEST WING. Many of the themes found in Diplomacy were inspired by the iconic political drama. Centered around the cult-followed board game of the same name - and the people smart enough to play it - this series follows the best players in the world at the Diplomacy World Championships. Our conduit into this realm is the US Diplomacy Team as they attempt to defend their title. Securing treaties with hostile nations, negotiating cease-fires, backstabbing allies to expand one's reach around the world - In the end, only one nation can have absolute control of the board, and in a dogfight for it all, drama is everywhere.
